I've heard a lot of great things about the Epson Perfection V600 Photo. There are cheaper models that I've been looking at like Epson Perfection V550 Photo and Canon CanoScan 9000F Mark II but I've been having a very hard time finding information on them regarding artwork scanning. Apparently the Epson Perfection V600 Photo is very popular among professional illustrators and animation bloggers. While the V600 will be over 50 euros more expensive than the cheaper models I'd rather be safe than sorry. My current scanner is a part of a multi-task machine Samsung M2070W and it's an insanely frustrating piece of machinery. Not only does the USB connection keep bugging out it also likes to annihilate certain colors like yellow and red/purple. Which leads to having to adjust Color Balance in Photoshop and that can turn a piece of artwork into digitized mess that looks 90% crappier than the original.
